Day 4 of My Own 60-Day Transformation Program

As I hit day four of my 60-day transformation program/challenge, the test run for TTS.. I feel more motivated than ever. My main goal for this journey is to embrace the process rather than focus on specific results. Of course, I hope to drop body fat along the way, but my primary aim is to keep moving forward and enjoying the ride.

Today started bright and early (more foggy actually) with a 6 AM circuit at The Transformation Station. The workout was both super fun and challenging. One of the best parts of our circuit training is the flexibility it offers; we can adjust the intensity to match our personal goals and energy levels. It’s an invigorating way to start the day and sets a positive tone for the hours ahead. I always say ‘this is where you give out your energy, but don’t worry, it comes back to you!’. It certainly does.

I’m proud of how my nutrition has been going. There was a time recently when my diet consisted mainly of protein bars, shakes, and some ‘healthy’ fast foods. Thankfully, this challenge has helped me break free from that rut. Eating whole, nourishing foods has significantly improved my energy levels, even though I started my ahem period recently. It’s a reminder that waiting for the ‘perfect’ time is often just an excuse – we need to make it work, learning to pivot, and learning to roll with the punches.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced so far is reducing screen time. I removed work email and Facebook Messenger from my cellphone. Now, I have designated times during the day to check emails, which helps me from feeling overwhelmed. This change has been a huge help, allowing me to focus better and enjoy other aspects of my day. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Having the time to take care of my own nutrition, mental health, and my workouts, allows me to have quality time in my working moments.. rather than working aimlessly throughout the day and feeling that sense of ‘always working’.

Speaking of workouts.. I’m really enjoying my early morning workouts. I’m always up by 4:30am, regardless if I coach 6am or not, so getting to a 6am workout on my off days has helped me stay in a sleep routine. It provides a sense of accomplishment early in the day and keeps me energized. Keeping myself accountable through social media reels has been effective too. A few years back, I had a double-page spread in Woman’s Health Magazine where I discussed how social media support played a crucial role in my journey. It’s awesome to see how it continues to help me stay on track and motivated, while also inspiring other people 🙂

The support I’ve received around the gym has been fantastic. Many people are interested in their own journeys, and it’s rewarding to see them inspired by mine. Helping others is a big part of why I started my business, and it’s always a bonus when my efforts encourage someone else.

For anyone just starting out or even someone like myself who’s tired of feeling mediocre and ready for deeper results, my advice is to tighten those reins for a little while and seek support. Surrounding yourself with people who share the same energy and commitment is incredibly important. Don’t wait for a perfect time – it doesn’t exist. Life’s events will always happen, so learn to pivot and roll with the punches. This adaptability is key to building sustainable health habits. Having that second plan to the first one, instead of throwing in the towel completely is where the magic happens.

So far, there haven’t been any major surprises. I’m looking forward to seeing a shift in my mindset as I progress through the challenge. I know it will only get better from here, and I’m excited to continue this journey.
